Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong
First Impressions
Walking into Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong honestly feels like stepping into a different world — and I mean that in the best way possible. The lobby sits right in the heart of Hong Kong’s financial district on Finance Street, which sounds intimidating but actually works perfectly. You’re surrounded by gleaming towers, yet the moment you’re inside, there’s this immediate sense of calm that only a five-star property can pull off. The staff greets you like they’ve been expecting you specifically, not just another guest checking in.
The Location Magic
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re literally in the thick of everything without feeling overwhelmed by it. Finance Street puts you walking distance from the IFC Mall, and honestly, the harbor views from here are something else. Couples seem to get this location (they rate it 9.6, which makes total sense), because you can stroll along the waterfront in the evening or catch the Star Ferry right nearby. The Airport Express station is practically next door, which saved me so much hassle with luggage.
Sleep Like You Mean It
You know what really impressed me? The beds here are genuinely exceptional — and I’m someone who usually struggles sleeping in hotels. The room I stayed in had floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the harbor, and the blackout curtains actually work (you’d be surprised how rare that is). The marble bathroom feels almost too nice to use, with that deep soaking tub that’s perfect after a long day exploring. There’s something about the way they’ve designed these spaces that feels both grand and surprisingly cozy.
Morning Fuel
The breakfast buffet here — well, it’s not cheap, but it’s worth experiencing at least once. They’ve got everything from perfect dim sum to Western classics, and the coffee is actually good (not hotel lobby good, but genuinely good). I found myself lingering longer than planned, partly because the restaurant overlooks the harbor and partly because the service makes you feel like you have all the time in the world. The fresh pastries alone could convince me to extend my stay.
Why Guests Love It
There’s a reason people keep coming back to this place — the repeat guest rate is higher than most luxury hotels I’ve stayed at. It’s not just the obvious stuff like the spa or the impeccable service (though both are fantastic). It’s the little things: how they remember your preferences, the way the concierge actually knows the city inside and out, and yes, the private parking if you’re brave enough to drive in Hong Kong. The location score of 9.6 isn’t just numbers — it reflects how this hotel connects you to the real Hong Kong while keeping you wrapped in comfort. When you’re paying five-star prices, you want to feel like every detail has been considered, and honestly, that’s exactly what you get here.

The service was impeccable, and the facilities, particularly the spa and pool, met our expectations for a hotel of this caliber. The dining options were also outstanding, with a varied and high-quality breakfast. At our departure, Charles showed great kindness toward us and our child, making a perfect end to our stay. A huge thank you to the entire team for such a warm welcome. I highly recommend this hotel for a luxury stay in Hong Kong.
