The lobby has this clean, modern vibe without trying too hard — you know what I mean? It’s polished but not intimidating, which I actually appreciated after a long flight.

Here’s what I love about staying in North Point — you’re away from the tourist crowds but still incredibly well-connected. The hotel is literally steps from the MTR, so getting to Central or Tsim Sha Tsui takes maybe 15 minutes. But the real gem is the neighborhood itself. Chun Yeung Street turns into this amazing wet market during the day, and I mean, where else can you grab fresh dim sum at 7 AM right outside your hotel? The area feels genuinely local, which couples seem to really appreciate — I overheard the front desk mentioning they get lots of positive feedback about the authentic Hong Kong experience.

The Room Experience

My room was compact but thoughtfully designed — typical Hong Kong style where every inch counts. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the bathroom actually had decent water pressure, which isn’t always a given in the city. Finding parking in Hong Kong is like winning the lottery, so having it right at the hotel eliminates a major headache. The staff mentioned they get consistently high ratings for their location, and after staying there, I totally get why. You’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the chaos to actually get some sleep.
