Park Hotel Hong Kong
First Impressions
Walking into Park Hotel Hong Kong, you immediately sense this isn’t your typical tourist trap hotel. The lobby has this understated elegance that feels refreshingly authentic — no gaudy chandeliers or marble everywhere, just clean lines and thoughtful design. What struck me most was how the staff genuinely seemed to remember returning guests, which makes sense given that this place has way more repeat visitors than most hotels in the city. There’s something comforting about that kind of consistency, you know?
Location & Neighborhood
Honestly, the location on Chatham Road South is pretty much perfect if you want to experience the real Hong Kong. You’re right in Tsim Sha Tsui, which means you can walk to the Star Ferry, hit up the night markets, or just wander the streets soaking in that incredible energy the city’s famous for. I mean, couples rate this spot 9.3 out of 10, and after spending time here, I totally get why. You’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the chaos that you can actually get some sleep. The MTR station is practically around the corner, so getting anywhere in the city is a breeze.
The Room Experience
The room itself surprised me — it’s more spacious than you’d expect for Hong Kong standards, where every square foot costs a fortune. The windows offer decent views of the bustling streets below, and there’s something oddly soothing about watching the city move while you’re tucked away comfortably. The bed was actually comfortable (not always a given in this four-star category), and the bathroom, while compact, had everything you need. What I appreciated most was the attention to small details — good lighting for reading, enough outlets for all your devices, and blackout curtains that actually work.
Dining & Amenities
The hotel’s restaurant serves solid Cantonese cuisine alongside international options, though honestly, with Hong Kong’s incredible street food scene right outside your door, you might find yourself eating out more often than not. The breakfast spread is decent enough to fuel your day of exploring, and the coffee is surprisingly good. There’s also a small fitness center that gets the job done if you need to work off all those dim sum sessions. The spa services are limited but professional — perfect for unwinding after a long day of navigating the city’s sensory overload.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back to this place isn’t flashy amenities or Instagram-worthy pools — it’s the reliability and genuine hospitality. The staff actually remembers your preferences, the location never gets old, and there’s this comfortable familiarity that makes each visit feel like coming home. You’re paying for a solid, well-run hotel in one of the world’s most expensive cities, and you’re getting exactly that without any pretense. For travelers who want to experience Hong Kong rather than hide from it in some sterile bubble, this place hits the sweet spot perfectly.

Our standard twin big room is spacious. Two normal single bed (not big type). Furnitures are new. Toilet is clean. As I read that they just revamped not long ago.
