Nina Hotel Causeway Bay
First Impressions
Walking into Nina Hotel Causeway Bay, you immediately get the sense that this place knows exactly what it’s doing. The lobby has this clean, modern vibe without trying too hard — honestly, it feels more like a well-designed apartment building than a typical hotel. What struck me right away was how the staff seemed to recognize returning guests, which makes sense given that this four-star property apparently has more repeat visitors than most places in Hong Kong.
Location That Actually Matters
Here’s the thing about King’s Road — it’s not the flashiest street in Causeway Bay, but it’s incredibly practical. You’re literally a three-minute walk from Times Square and all the major shopping, yet you’re just far enough away that you can actually sleep at night. The MTR station is close enough that you don’t need to think about it, and I mean, couples rate this location 9.5 out of 10 for good reason. You can walk to Victoria Park in the morning, hit the shopping districts during the day, and find decent late-night food without taking a taxi anywhere.
The Room Experience
The room itself is what you’d expect from a solid four-star in Hong Kong — compact but thoughtfully designed. Everything has its place, and honestly, the bed is more comfortable than it has any right to be for this price point. The bathroom is small but functional, and the shower pressure is actually decent (which, if you’ve stayed in enough Hong Kong hotels, you know isn’t always guaranteed). What I appreciated most was the attention to details like USB ports exactly where you need them and blackout curtains that actually work.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Causeway Bay can be overwhelming, but staying on King’s Road gives you this perfect balance. You’re close enough to dive into the chaos of the shopping districts, but you can also easily escape to the quieter parts of the neighborhood. There’s a wet market nearby if you want to see local life, and the variety of restaurant options within walking distance is honestly impressive — from local cha chaan tengs to international chains, plus some hidden gems tucked into the side streets that you’d never find unless you were staying in the area.
Why Guests Love It
The fact that so many people come back here tells you something important — this isn’t just about the location, though that’s obviously a huge part of it. The service feels personal without being intrusive, and there’s something to be said for a hotel that doesn’t try to be everything to everyone. It’s reliable, well-located, and priced fairly for what you get. You know what you’re getting here, and sometimes that consistency is exactly what you want when you’re dealing with the sensory overload that can be Hong Kong.
To book hotel in Hong Kong for Symphony of Lights shows, travelers lock harbor-view suites to pair junk boat cruises with rooftop dim sum tastings.

Guest Reviews
Restaurants and food stalls were all within short walking distances from the hotel. Yummy dim sum, beef brisket noodles, Roasted Goose and Barbecue meats, Fishball noodles, etc were within easy reach.
Check-in was handled well by Ivan at the Reception. Raymond and Charles helped with our luggages. Always ready with a smile, the Concierge Staff will greet you and exchange pleasantries every time they see you. This made us feel very welcomed at the hotel. They were also very quick to help with getting us a cab when we needed to go out.
Housekeeping staff, Ms. Lai was cordial and quickly replenished our hot beverages items when we requested. She cleaned and tidied our room well, too.
Unfortunately, the downside of our stay included the air conditioning not being cold enough on our arrival. Also, the water did not flush out of the bath tub after we had our showers on the second day. However, only one call was what it took to get the problems fixed during each time. Tqsomuch to the quick response every time we made a complaint.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and we would definitely recommend this hotel. We would like to mention that the room was big for Hong Kong standard of hotels - this made our stay comfortable.
Tqsomuch to all the staff at Nina Hotel Causeway Bay for contributing to a great experience for our holiday in Hong Kong.
The Management should seriously look into the matter of providing Restrooms on the Ground Floor level. For now, we need to go up to Level 39 to use Restrooms. For people like me who has mobility issues, it was rather inconvenient.
