Hotel Madera Hong Kong
First Impressions
Walking into Hotel Madera Hong Kong, you immediately notice how they’ve managed to create this warm, almost residential feel in the middle of one of the world’s busiest cities. The lobby isn’t trying too hard to impress — it’s got this understated elegance that actually feels more welcoming than intimidating. I mean, after dealing with Hong Kong’s sensory overload outside, stepping into this space feels like taking a deep breath.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s what I love about the Jordan location — you’re right in the thick of things without being overwhelmed by tourist crowds. The four-star property sits on Cheong Lok Street, and honestly, it’s one of those spots where locals actually live and work. You’ve got the MTR station just a few minutes away, which means you can be in Central or Tsim Sha Tsui in no time. But here’s the thing — you can also just wander around the neighborhood and find these incredible little cha chaan tengs (tea restaurants) that most visitors never discover.
The Room Experience
The rooms are compact — this is Hong Kong, after all — but they’ve used every inch intelligently. My room had this clever built-in desk setup that actually made working comfortable, and the bed was surprisingly spacious for the square footage. What really impressed me was the bathroom design; they somehow fit a proper shower without making you feel like you’re in a closet. The soundproofing works well too, which is crucial when you’re in such a dense urban area.
Dining & Amenities
The hotel’s restaurant serves decent international fare, though honestly, with all the incredible food options in the neighborhood, I’d recommend venturing out for most meals. What they do well is breakfast — it’s nothing fancy, but it’s fresh and gets you ready for a day of exploring. There’s also a small fitness area that’s perfectly adequate if you need to squeeze in a workout, and the staff can arrange parking if you’re somehow crazy enough to drive in Hong Kong.
Why Guests Love It
You know what really sets this place apart? The staff genuinely seem to care about making your stay work. They’re not just going through the motions — they’ll actually give you useful local recommendations and help solve problems before they become headaches. Couples particularly seem to appreciate the intimate scale of the hotel; it’s not some massive chain property where you feel anonymous. The location feedback makes total sense too — being in Jordan gives you this authentic Hong Kong experience while still having easy access to all the major attractions. It’s that sweet spot where you feel like you’re staying somewhere real rather than just passing through a tourist bubble.

Guest Reviews
The site is not far from Jordan MRT station, the nearest exit has an elevator, and walkable distance to MONG KOK and TSIM SA TSUI.
The room was clean, spacious enough for a couple and well maintained , it’s in a good condition like in my previous stay( more than 8 years).
The hotel also offer a complimentary set of snack and drinks in fridge in the room once per stay.
Good location and was quiet at night
Room is spacious compared with other hotel rooms of the same grade in Hong Kong
